TROY CREEK’S FOWL FREIGHTER MH: Mack

Mack is a once in a lifetime Chesapeake Bay Retriever. He’s an extremely talented and driven retriever who competes in AKC Hunt Tests and Field Trials. He earned his Master Hunter title at the age of two years and 10 months of age. Currently, he’s competing in Qualifying Field Trial stakes. He started as a hunt test/gun dog and is learning about the long game. He is an excellent marker, runs hard for marks and blinds, and he loves birds. Mack is a pleasure to campaign and hunt with. He is quiet in the blind and field, very steady, and always wants to please. Mack is a great working dog, always trying to do the right thing, and is not generally moody. He’s been shot over on dove, duck, geese, and upland hunts. He has a perfect motor for upland work, as he works hard and purposely but doesn’t tire himself out too quickly. He loves to hunt ducks but taking on big geese is his absolute favorite.

He is an exceptionally good looking male and very athletic, agile, and fast. He maintains a weight at 80 pounds. He is not overbuilt or heavy. His athleticism is exceptional. In the house, Mack is very easy to live with and gets along well with several other dogs, male and female. He has a noticeable OFF switch inside the house and is a big-time space-invader, like most Chesapeake Bay Retrievers, always wanting to be near his people. Mack is great in the kennel and on the truck. He is very clean and quiet.

Ralph is a sporty chocolate male with a bright and lively attitude and spirit. He is an enjoyable companion on hunts, while training for and campaigning in hunt tests, and while relaxing in the house. He is especially sweet and loves all people. He earned his AKC Senior Hunter title and has been hunted over on numerous hunts. He’s been shot over on dove, duck, goose, and upland hunts. He is a super fun dog to hunt with. He is still training and looking forward to earning his AKC Master Hunter title in 2025.

Ralph is a good looking male with an agile and sporty frame. He weighs 60 pounds and is extremely athletic and fast. Ralph runs hard for marks and blinds, has a good water attitude, and loves chasing down cripples. In the house, he is quiet, preferring solitude and space, while sharing the house with several other dogs. Ralph is often found alone in a cozy nook rather than with the pack, wagging his tail when discovered and spoken to. He has a noticeable OFF switch inside the house and he is very obedient. Ralph has been genetically tested and is CLEAR for ALL testable hereditary disorders including the most common (listed below). Ralph does not carry a dilute genome. Troy Creek Retrievers does not support breeding any dog who carries dilute genomes.

Jake’s Running Afowl SH

Deke is an exceptionally talented and handsome black lab. He is easily one of the smartest and most capable dogs I’ve had the pleasure of working with. He is stylish, enthusiastic, and a team player. He marks exceptionally well and handles easily. Deke earned his AKC Senior title at a young age. Since then he’s demonstrated that he’s a capable gun dog, picking up hundreds of birds in the past few seasons.

Deke is exceptionally athletic, agile, and fast. His good looks, sleek lines, terrific drive, and speed make him a fun and enjoyable retriever and gun dog. He loves to please and gives full effort all the time.

In addition to his stunning looks, Chase is a sweet and lovable companion at home, though he’s happiest while on the hunt.
