Troy Creek puppies are bred from high achieving dams and sires with impressive pedigrees and who are proven in the field. We take significant steps to ensure our pups are not affected by genetic diseases that can be tested for, including dilute coat color. Puppies are whelped and raised in our home as part of our family. Troy Creek puppies are talented, well-rounded retrievers and make desirable family dogs and hunting partners.

Troy Creek is very excited about our litter by Nitro and Ember. Both parents are outstanding working retrievers and have tremendous drive and courage. They are phenomenal hunters and successful competitive retrievers. Though they’re both driven in the field they both have noticeable “off-switches” and are great companions in the home with other pets and people.. These pups will be extremely capable field trial, hunt-test, and/or gun dogs. They will be exceptionally smart, trainable, and stylish, with tons of horsepower.
NITRO was QAA at age 2 and AFC at 5.9. He has three Amateur Wins and an Open win and only needs two points for his FC. In 2019, Nitro started six Amateur’s and finished five, with two wins, a 3rd, a Reserve Jam, and a Jam. He qualified for NARC in 2017 and 2020. Nitro is a big dog (80 lbs) with a sweet and lovable personality. He’s as good in the duck blind as he is in field trials. He has two field trial titled siblings, several others with AA points, 8 QAA siblings, as well as MH/SH/JH titled siblings. The talent is strong in his pedigree.
EMBER is an exceptional dog in the field. She runs with style, courage, purpose, and skill. She is exceptionally pleasing to handle in hunt-tests and on actual hunts. She is fearless and driven to retrieve. She’s picked up hundreds and ducks and geese while hunting. Though she is super driven and fast, she is easy to handle and always aims to please. She is super sweet and lovable and great with people and other pets.
